The Sharpspring tracking code is what allows you to connect with the SharpSpring app and take advantage of the tools SharpSpring has to offer. SharpSpring uses an asynchronous tracking code, meaning that your website will load, even if SharpSpring’s servers go down.
Your CSM should have given you your unique site tracking code, but you can also access this inside of your Sharpspring Account. Navigate to Settings -> then “Sites” (under “Tracking” on the left sidebar.) From here you should be able to find your website. Once you click on your site, click on the “Tracking Code” tab, where you will find your unique tracking code. You will be able to see here if the site code is active, and other basic information about the site tracking code.
This tracking code must be placed immediately before the closing </head> tag onto every page (this process is outlined here). If you are on WordPress, there are a number of plugins you can download to manage your tracking codes.
